"Heady Days" was written while sick and reading Phil Lesh's book, Searching For The Sound, which had some rad passages on the early heady days of The Grateful Dead.

"Rising Wild" was written for a friend very soon after he told me he was going to be a father. It's a meditation on those feelings one has when they're not ready for something eminent and life changing.
